Legacy. It’s a big sounding word that conjures up images of important people and momentous actions. The implications can make a person feel big and small simultaneously. “I can have a legacy, but what would it be? I’m not J.F.K. or Nelson Mandela. I’m just me.” If you look it up, the word legacy simply describes a gift; how will we be remembered. In this moment, you are already living your legacy and so am I. The question is not whether or not we will leave a legacy, since we will do just that by being here and living our lives; the question is, are we creating the legacy we want.
